Sandy is a licensed clinical therapist who specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults. All treatment is individualized to meet the needs of each specific circumstance disrupting one’s emotional stability. She believes that learning and practicing skills is paramount to success and enables healthy life styles. She is trained in the areas of anger, depression, anxiety, phase of life issues and grief. She has been successful in helping others achieve their potential through individual, family and group therapy.

Sandy approaches all patients with an understanding that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. She works with patients to empower them with skills and confidence. She strives to help patients understand the underlying causes of emotional conflicts as well as teaching the skill set to apply whether at home, at school, on a job or in any social situation.

Sandy received her master’s degree in Social work in 1977 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 1983. She is credentialed with most insurance companies and is a Medicaid and Medicare provider. She has worked in outpatient settings, in residential treatment settings and in school-based settings. Sandy has 42 years of experience treating patients in the state of Arkansas.

Sandy likes to quote, “dreams have no deadlines,” and uses this message to support and encourage patients. She is dedicated to her patients and is available to help them resolve emotional difficulties. Sandy chose to work at Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas because of the caliber of professional staff, the integrity of the corporation and the service mission that puts patients first. Sandy encourages all people needing someone to help them with life difficulties to consider seeking services from her agency.
