Madison Scott, LMSW
School-Based Clinical Therapist
Madison is a licensed therapist who specializes in the treatment of adolescents suffering from anxiety, depression, ADHD, disruptive behaviors, trauma, and other conditions. She has a clinical focus on suicide prevention, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. She utilizes creative ways of coping, such as a punching bag and an emotional support therapy dog. In addition to working with adolescents, Madison is also experienced in addressing family conflict issues.
Her approach to treatment involves spending time to develop a deep understanding of each of her patients and their specific situation. She then develops a treatment plan and approach which is shared with patients’ guardians, when applicable, to insure all family members are informed of the treatment path.
Madison received her Bachelor degree in Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California. She enjoys working with her patients through the school “because I am able to be readily available when a client is struggling, whether with anger outbursts or depression, and give them a safe place to alleviate or process their current situation.”
