Michael Proveaux, LCSW
Michael has enjoyed working with children, teens, adults and families for over 20 years. He has extensive experience helping with depression, anxiety, anger, ADHD, impulse control, OCD, trauma, substance abuse, family conflict, parenting skills, divorce and other relationship problems. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings including residential, outpatient and day treatment programs.
Michael received his B.A. in Psychology from Harding University and his Master of Social Work from the UALR and has been a mental health professional since 1999. After years of working as a clinical supervisor in other programs within our agency, Michael joined BHSA in 2018. He has expressed being very happy to return to what he loves most, which is providing therapy services and directly helping people make their lives happier and more fulfilling. The fact that he has been able to do this while continuing to be a part of such a supportive team that demonstrates their dedication to the mission of helping people every day, he says, has been a welcome bonus.
